The Cartwright is a lovely Edwardian boutique hotel which has recently undergone a renovation. The hotel offers services which are unexpected from a hotel of this grade, such as complimentary wine reception hosted by the manager each evening at 5pm, pet pampering packages and freshly baked cookies, apples and coffee are available free of charge all day. Guests may use a local fitness centre and swimming pool and charge the day pass back to their room.
Rooms can be quite small and have original antique furniture, old black and white photos decorating the neutral walls, complimentary wi-fi connections along with the usual amenities including designer toiletries, voice mail check out and large, well lit, work area.
A complimentary continental breakfast, with a large selection of items including waffles, yoghurts, pastries and egg/sausage rolls, is served each morning in the garden room. There is no onsite restaurant although there are a number of options nearby for all budgets. |
