Part of the Executive group, this non smoking, boutique hotel calls itself as "a little piece of wine country, two blocks above Union Square" and they pride themselves on their knowledge of wines.
The lobby has a lovely marble fireplace with plenty of space to relax on the long sofas surrounding it. The dark wooden furniture and plush red upholstery create a warm feeling, and that’s before you partake in the complimentary wine tasting each evening!
Each bedroom is named after a local Californian winery and has a contemporary feel to it with dark greens, creams and burgundies all against dark wood and wrought iron furniture. Bedding is soft and comfortable with European duvets, down pillows and high quality linens. Some rooms have lovely bay windows with soft window seats giving you plenty of opportunity to soak up the sun.
A complimentary breakfast of coffees, juices and muffins is served every morning. Dining is in the adjacent French restaurant, Masa’s. Understated in browns and creams, this restaurant boasts a selection of over 400 wines to accompany its innovative menu. |
