Metropolis Hotel
Part of the Personality group of hotels, this hotel is funky and modern. Hotel facilities include a library, business centre and fitness centre along with a meditation room with bonsai trees and yoga mats. The library and the bedrooms on floors 2-5 all have complimentary wi-fi internet access. The lobby is bold in black marble, lots of mirrors and a waterfall feature, with upholstery in greens, tangerines, blues and greys.
Bedrooms are themed around earth, wind, fire and water and the colour schemes and artwork in each room reflect the natural element. Furniture is African limba and maple with unique angled headboards. Chairs are in cozy chenille, bedding is rich and comfortable. All rooms have dual phone lines, alarm clocks with nature sounds, games console and for a charge you can have Chinese tea in your room. Some rooms have private balconies and all have large windows.
Dinner is served in the Asian fusion bar, La’Zeez, attached to the hotel. Coffees are available in the library/lounge. |
