Powell Hotel
Built in 1908, the Powell Hotel still as some of the original architectural features including high ceiling and a granite floor in the lobby.
The bedrooms are plain but comfortable. Furniture is of an antique style, bedding and curtains are natural earth colours and the room retains period features of high ceilings and steam radiators. Each room has a small sitting area and a large workdesk. You will find gourmet coffee in your room, along with multi phone lines, cable TV, internet access and designer toiletries.
The lobby café, Powell Café, is open for breakfast and lunch serving a variety of pastries, bagels and coffees. There are a number of restaurants nearby offering plenty of choice for dinner. |
