Renoir Hotel
The Renoir Hotel was built in 1909 and rooms were recently renovated. This hotel is ideal for budget travellers and given its location skirting a slightly seedy part of town it is perhaps not the best neighbourhood to take children.
The spacious lobby is nicely decorated with red carpeting and gold mouldings and ornamental features.
Bedrooms are small and simple but clean. Décor is inoffensive with patterned curtains and bedding, dark wooden furniture, and light walls. Facilities include voicemail, modem hook-up and free cable TV. Most rooms are non smoking.
The hotel’s restaurant is the popular Brazilian themed, Café do Brasil, specialising in a traditional Brazilian barbeque with live music some nights. Breakfast is also served in the café. |
