Part of the Kimpton family of boutique hotels, designed with an Italian style in mind. The marble-floored lobby leads onto the comfortable lounge with open fire and plenty of seating. Each day there’s complimentary tea/coffee and biscotti served in the lounge and then in the evening the manager requests that guests join him for a relaxing glass of wine.
Bedrooms are traditional in style, and can be quite small although mirrored walls provide the feeling of space. With plain but bright bedding, patterned carpets and antique style furniture the rooms are very homely. Each room has a coffeemaker, minibar, voicemail and games console as well as the usual facilities you can expect in a hotel of this standard.
Dining is in Café Pescatore, a casual Italian sidewalk café, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. Pizzas are a specialty on the dinner menu, along with pastas, meats, poultry and seafood. |
